What Our Diagnostic Service Covers

At Garneau Tool, every small engine service begins with a professional diagnostic inspection to properly evaluate your equipment, identify the root cause of any issues, and determine the most effective repair solution. Our diagnostic process includes full mechanical and operational testing such as fuel system checks, ignition verification, compression and engine condition evaluation, intake and exhaust inspection, throttle and governor operation, lubrication system review, electrical testing where applicable, and complete starting and performance assessment. The diagnostic inspection is $35.00 plus HST (13%) and includes up to one hour of diagnostic labour, the technicians travel time for your mobile on-site service, and a detailed repair estimate.
